NCVA was saddened to learn of the passing of Jack Western on April 5, 2017, at the age of 93.
After serving with the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, Jack and his wife came to Canada where he enjoyed a varied career in the police and legal services, eventually becoming a Justice of the Peace. He was the founder of both the Bomber Command Association Canada and the War Veterans & Friends Club, and tireless in his service to his community.
